Privacy Policy
1. What We Collect
When you use the Picment AI Featured Image Generator plugin, we collect:
- Site URL — collected on plugin activation to identify your installation.
- Anonymous install ID — a randomly generated UUID created locally by the plugin; used to authenticate API requests.
- Post title and content excerpt — sent only at the moment of image generation, used solely to construct the image prompt sent to OpenAI.
- Plan/subscription status — stored server-side to track credit usage.
We do not collect: personal names, email addresses (unless you contact us), passwords, or payment details (those are handled entirely by Stripe).
2. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate your WordPress site's API requests.
- To generate images via OpenAI DALL-E 3 on your behalf.
- To track credit usage for paid and trial plans.
3. Data Sharing
- OpenAI — your post title and content excerpt are sent to OpenAI to generate images. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Data Retention
Site registration data (install ID, site URL) is retained for the lifetime of your subscription. You may request deletion by contacting us.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@picment.xyz.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
